NCMM aims to continue and develop its scientific community and knowledge capabilities, through establishing strong collaborative links with key scientists and research groups across Norway. These links and collaborations greatly support translational networking.
This fourth call for Associate and Young Associate Investigators is directed towards appointing outstanding candidates in the areas of molecular and translational medicine, as well as biotechnology.
There are approximately 10 slots available in this call. The deadline for applications is 16 October 2017.
About Associate and Young Associate Investigators
The Associate/Young Associate Investigator category is designed for outstanding senior or younger scientists who are currently based in Norway. Applicants' expertise must be compatible with the research areas of NCMM. Furthermore, Associate Investigators must be interested in collaborating with NCMM and in contributing to the building of an NCMM Molecular Medicine and Translational Research Network.
Associate Investigators will continue working at their host institutions, and will be credited an affiliation to NCMM. Nominations will be made for three years and will be renewable. We anticipate rotating calls approximately every 18 months.
