The necessary skill set of translational scientists

The collaborative group, Translation Together, has published an article examining the skillset and qualities that make for a successful translational scientist.

Translation Together, of which EATRIS is a member, has published the article, The Fundamental Characteristics of a Translational Scientist, Gillilandet al, 2019, identifies the characteristics that can prove beneficial to a translational scientist and advance translational science.

The University of Oslo is part of the EATRIS Norway node, with Norway’s participation in EATRIS organised by NCMM. NCMM Director, Professor Janna Saarela, is also the national director of EATRIS Norway.

Translation Together is a unique collaboration of leading translational research organisations from around the globe that aims to advance the science and understanding of biomedical translation. It leverages their complementary scientific and operational strengths, shared insight of the challenges facing translation and collective voice.
