NCMM Board appoints new SAB member

NCMM is pleased to announce that Judith Zaugg, EMBL Heidelberg, has been appointed as a member of NCMM's SAB (Scientific Advisory Board)

Dr Judith Zaugg is head of the Personalised Genomics to Study Genetic Basis of Complex Diseases group at EMBL Heidelberg. Dr Zaugg has been appointed by the Board of NCMM after Professor Margaret Frame, Science Director and Chair of Cancer Biology, Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre, Edinburgh, UK, rotated out of the SAB.

Dr. Zaugg has a wealth of expertise in computational biology and her research interests align with several of NCMM's groups. She has been a group leader at EMBL since 2014, and also has a joint appointment with the Genome Biology Unit at EMBL and with EMBL-EBI in Hinxton, UK. She is also a group leader in the Molecular Medicine Partnership Unit

The next SAB visit to NCMM is scheduled to take place in March 2021, and the Centre looks forward to welcoming Dr. Zaugg then. NCMM also wishes to thank Professor Frame for her valuable support and expertise during her time as a member of the SAB.
