Camila Esguerra to visit Prof Dr Rima Nabbout

EATRIS-plus staff exchange programme is enabling Dr. Esguerra's visit to discuss a potential collaboration.

Dr Camila V. Esguerra is the first person from Norway to take advantage of the EATRIS-plus staff exchange program. She is invited to visit Prof Dr Rima Nabbout, a world renowned researcher in the field of pediatric epilepsies that works at the IMAGINE institute, INSERM France and heads the Reference Center for Rare Epilepsies, Dept of Pediatric Neurology, Necker Infants Malades University Hospital, University of Paris, France. The purpose of Camilas visit is to give a presentation of her research, meet with various groups at the institute and discuss possibilities for collaboration and a joint research funding application.

EATRIS-Plus Staff Exchange Programme

The EATRIS-Plus Staff Exchange Programme is an integral part of the long-term sustainability of EATRIS and its individual nodes and member institutions. It is designed to stimulate interactions between the nodes and all EATRIS members institutions. The aim of the exchanges is to foster a shared culture of research and innovation, supporting individual learning, best practice and knowledge exchange in the areas of infrastructure operations, technical development (laboratory work), and stakeholder management.

  • Applications are accepted on a quarterly call basis, and the exchange must be carried out before 31st of December 2023
  • Grants up to €1.500 of actual costs
  • All applications are reviewed by the EATRIS-Plus
