About the seminar
There is broad agreement that antimicrobial resistance needs to be addressed through interdisciplinary collaboration and INFRA was created to advance and strengthen this aim at the University of Oslo. Inspired by the ethos of “working together”, we dedicate this seminar to some introspection; how are we working interdisciplinary and how could we move to create more collaboration?
The presenters represent some of the AMR research areas in INFRA, and their presentations will raise questions and challenges in their work that could inspire more interdisciplinary collaboration. After the presentations, we will encourage participants to reflect in groups on concrete possible synergies from the work that is going on in the network.
Students and researchers are welcome
The seminar is open to students and researchers who are interested in interdisciplinary work on antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
Registration
We encourage all to join us in person. A Zoom link will be shared with registered participants before the event, for those who are unable to meet physically.

About the network
This seminar is organized by the Interdisciplinary Forum for Research on Antimicrobial Resistance (INFRA). INFRA is a network for students and researchers, which aims to advance and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, education, and research on antimicrobial and antibiotic resistance at the University of Oslo.
The network is part of and funded by the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare Education (SHE) and the AntiMicrobials in Complex Systems (AMiCS) unit. Jointly coordinated by SHE and the Institute of Health and Society (Helsam), the network serves as a meeting point for national and international research and educational activities on antimicrobial resistance across disciplinary boundaries and departments.
World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2023
This seminar is part of World Health Organisation´s World Antimicrobial Awareness Week. (WAAW). The seminar is one of more events made by SHE at University of Oslo this week.
