– The Honours certificate gives students a unique opportunity to gain knowledge about some of the biggest health challenges of our time and how we can tackle them, says Tony Sandset, researcher at the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare Education (SHE).
Master’s students at UiO can now apply for a brand new education program, an Honours certificate: Education for Sustainable Health. This course runs in parallel with the master's studies and provides 20 credits.
We must meet the needs of society
This is the third Honours certificate offered at the University of Oslo. Students demand knowledge about sustainability in health education, so we offer this to meet society's needs, explains Sandset.
The students participate in interdisciplinary collaborations with teaching in leading research environments. There will be seminars focusing on innovative methods and sustainability pedagogy, as well as group work based on specific cases.
– We have 30 available places, says Sandset. Start of studies is January 2024.
