SHE is an interdisciplinary center at the Faculty of Medicine at UiO. In collaboration with the students, the center will renew health education in light of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. The aim is to qualify future healthcare workers to make evidence-based decisions that do not compromise future resources and needs.
SHE is:
- A platform for renewing education and offering R&D-based education
- A knowledge center for educational development at our faculty with spread to other institutions
- A laboratory for testing new ideas and ways of working
- An incentive for student involvement and students' ownership of learning.
Students as partners
SHE includes students as partners. Some students are employed and participate in the development of the center, research and educational projects, and arrange annual conferences. Others are engaged in short-term projects.
