The chairman of the council is appointed for a period of 5 years. In addition to the chair, the council consists of the deans from the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, as well as internal and external professionals who together cover the centre's subject areas. The unit has a student representative appointed by the Medical Student Committee (MSU).
