Background

Dr. Richard Hatchett, CEO of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), is being awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Oslo (UiO) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to global health and vaccine development. Under his leadership, CEPI has played a pivotal role in accelerating the development of vaccines against emerging infectious diseases, including the rapid response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This seminar will explore Norway's committment to advancements in vaccine technology, featuring talks from leading experts on mucosal vaccines and APC-targeted vaccines, offering a glimpse into the role vaccines play in pandemic preparedness.
