The RELIGHT advisory board, an external and international board set up by the Centre for Global Health (CGH) at the University of Oslo (UiO), has reviewed the applications for the RELIGHT call (deadline 28 February 2019). We are thrilled to present the three groups that will have the opportunity to advance their Global Health agenda through project development support from CGH over the next three years.

As one of the Centre for Global Health's Signatory Themes, One Health takes a holistic, cross and multidisciplinary view and aims to promote and improve the health of humans, animals and the environment taking into account the interdependence of different milieus. To celebrate the recent Lancet issue on 'Advancing women in global health' and to discuss the next steps and initiatives of the Women in Global Health Norway platform, the Centre for Global Health welcomed  the WGH Norway participants in Oslo for an informal network meeting.

Last week Professor Tippawan Liabsuetrakul from the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, visited the Centre for Global Health and the Department of Community and Global Health at University of Oslo, to explore possibilities of collaboration between the University of Oslo and Prince of Songkla University.

The Women in Global Health Norway (WGH Norway) was launched on November 26th, 2018 in Oslo with an impressive academic programme followed by an informal reception. The newly established platform is hosted by the Centre for Global Health (CGH) at the University of Oslo (UiO).
