Faglige interesser

Jeg er interessert i hvordan abstrakte og teoretiske konsepter i Global Health and Health Professionals utdanning kan transformeres eller endres til en konkret og realistisk diskusjon, implementert i den virkelige verden for ønsket endring og forbli vedvarende og tilpasset.

Jeg nærmer meg disse ved å bruke Community Based Participatory Approach og Action Research-perspektiv.

I mine tidligere prosjekter, for eksempel ved bruk av aksjonsforskning gjennom eksperimentelle metoder, har jeg studert hvordan postkirurgisk smertebehandling kan forbedres i innstillinger med lite ressurser.

Nå, med utgangspunkt i litteratur om CBPR og kvalitativ systemdynamisk modellering, undersøker jeg hvordan CBPR er konseptualisert og implantert i fortiden, og hvordan det kan brukes til bærekraftig helseutdanning (SHE) og forskning.
