In this module you will learn about how the burden of disease are distributed globally, but also about the underlying social and political determinants contributing to inequity in health both between different countries and within each country, and how the globalization affects these determinants. You will also be introduced to the different international organizations working within global health. After completing this module you will be able to discuss strengths and weaknesses concerning the most important strategies to meet global health challenges.
The teaching consists of seminars and group assignments.
